Draco arrived safely in Salzburg yesterday, and he and Blaise are enjoying one another's company.
Since then, however, there has been something of a change in plans which I would like to discuss with you. Blaise and my daughter Søren will not be staying here much longer, preferring to retreat to our home in Venice. If he has your permission, Draco would very much like to accompany them.
The Venice property has two full-time servants and one house elf, and I will be dropping in regularly. The children feel they would have a much more enjoyable holiday there than in Salzburg, which I am sure is true.
The four of us will be returning to the Salzburg resort for two days at each full moon, for Blaise's safety and well-being.
If you assent, the children will leave for Venice immediately.

My name is Mirta Zabini, and my son Blaise is one of your Slytherins. I write to you with news, and with a request.
Blaise was attacked by an untransformed werewolf last month, of which I'm sure you are aware. At the time it was unclear whether Blaise would have to undergo the change. Now it is perfectly clear. My son is a werewolf.
I understand there is precedent for lycanthropes as students at Hogwarts, so I trust this will not interfere with his education. I do hope you will discuss this issue with the appropriate parties to make any necessary arrangements.
As for my request, I understand that you are now Draco Malfoy's legal guardian. He and Blaise have been very close friends for many years, and I ask your permission for Draco to join us for a brief time—a week perhaps, or two—in Austria.
I believe it will do both boys good. If you grant permission, Blaise will invite Draco personally.
